In recognition of the strengthening economy, property consultants JLL in Bristol have appointed four new graduate surveyors with a fifth to join in September - the highest number of graduates recruited since the start of the recession.
The new JLL graduate recruits Bristol are: Lucy Warren and Chris Quaile, who will be working with the building and construction team; Kathryn Hollick, who will be joining healthcare valuation and Ross Wigley, who will be part of the office agency team.
Jeremy Richards, head of JLL’s Bristol office, said: “We are delighted to be able to strengthen our growing team in Bristol with these latest appointments.
“They were all originally due to start in September but we’ve been able to take on four of them already, which is another reflection of the improving market conditions.”
Deborah Bryant Pearson is the fifth graduate and will be joining the company in September.
Kathryn has a Masters in real estate management from the University of the West of England (UWE). She previously worked as a lettings administrator at Network Rail.
Lucy is a graduate of UWE and worked as a trainee building surveyor in the property services department at Avon Fire and Rescue Service.
Chris graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2012, before going on to work at Western Building Consultants in Bath, while Ross studied property management and investment at UWE.
